One person tweeted: “Shameful performance of India. Rohit, Dravid and Jay Shah should be sacked.”

Jay Shah, the son of India’s Home Affairs Minister Amit Shah, was elected to the new post in early 2021. Not long ago, former Indian skipper Souraf Ganguly was rudely stripped of his role as BCCI president, but the Shah was allowed to continue his position as secretary to the board.
