Spokane, WA — The MUV Fitness Gym in Spokane is kicking off its annual food drive early to help and support the fight against hunger.
MUV partnered with Second Harvest Spokane, Clackamas Service Center (Oregon) and Volunteers of America for this food drive campaign.
“At a time when inflation is at an all-time high and money is tight, those with the means should do their part and help those with the money.again They are struggling to make ends meet and support their families,” said Chip Schwertzel, owner of MUV Fitness.
Last year, MUV provided record amounts to local food banks, shelters and charities. They hope to break the record again this year.
“we We aim to make this the largest privately held food drive,” said Jeff Carlson, owner of MUV Fitness. “Our annual food drive is special. Because non-gym members usually come to donate food incessantly. “
Non-MUV fitness members who donate 10 canned food can work out for free until the end of the year.
