The Ras Virgines Unified School District School Board and its leadership team have selected Hannah Mogul as the new assistant principal at Lindero Canyon Middle School in Agoura Hills.
Mogul has extensive leadership and teaching experience with a background in mathematics and STEM.
She teaches CP Algebra 1 and 2, AP Statistics, and APEX Guided Studies at Calabasas High School, and has mentored both aspiring and at-risk students.
This year, Mogul served as a restoration teacher on a special mission to help create a safe and welcoming environment for all students. In this role, she implemented school programs based on positive and passive restorative practices, emphasizing conflict resolution, mediation, and community building to improve school atmosphere.
Prior to that, he spent three years teaching middle school math classes at the Aerospace Academy in Palmdale. In this role, she held various leadership roles as her ASB Leadership Advisor, Link Her Crew Her Advisor, and Grade Level Her Leader.
Mogul helped develop a cohesive math curriculum with the goal of aligning standards across grades. She also conducted various school events and improved financial procedures for activities, clubs and student stores.
The selection committee highlighted her strong STEM background, track record of improving processes, and leadership experience working with different types of students.
