NEW HAVEN — A woman suspected in the Genesee Street robbery was in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia when she was found hiding in a dumpster Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Robetsy Quinones, 25, of New Haven was charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree robbery, first-degree trespassing, obstructing a police investigation, possession of controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. New Haven police responded to reports of a burglary in progress at a house on Genesee Street in the city’s Westville neighborhood around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to Dell. The homeowner told officers he believed someone was in the garage loft because the door was unlocked.
