Sunlife Completes Sale of Union, Alliance and Group Creditor Business

Toronto, February 1, 2023 /PRNewswire/ – Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada (“SLA”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Life Financial Inc. (“Sun Life” or “SLF”) (TSX: SLF) (NYSE: SLF), today completed the sale of its Sponsored Markets Business (Association) announced that it had , Affinity and Group Creditors) to Canadian Premier Life Insurance Company (“Canadian Premier”).

The transaction will transition Sun Life’s association, affinity and group creditor businesses, including plan members and customers, to Canadian Premier.
